Nice Surprise

The short story for Torquere is coming out a lot sooner than expected *g*. Tomorrow, in fact. Breaking point is a short short in their Sips series, and, I hope, the first of other stories of various lengths I'll be submitting to them.

Breaking Point should be coming back to me for editing any day now, and might well be up on the Torquere site a lot sooner than I'd thought.

Now I really need to get my brain in gear and do some solid work on Finders, Keepers and on Sea-Change so I can find homes for them as well.

It's a start

With one novella for sale on Ellora's Cave's website, and now a short story accepted by Torquere, it's time to set up a blog. This will help me keep my thoughts in order and my priorities straight. In a manner of speaking.

It'll be a while before Breaking Point is up on Torquere's site, so now I have to concentrate on Finders, Keepers and Sea-Change. I don't yet have a projected word count for Finders, Keepers - it's only two chapters in on its first draft, but I think it'll come in at about 60 to70 thousand words.

Sea-Change is finished, but still going through the drafting stages. It's currently in the region of 106 thousand words. When it's polished to the best of my ability, I'll be submitting it to Torquere and keeping my fingers crossed.
